My recent stay at Amadour in Rocamadour surpassed all my expectations in every way. Not only was the staff incredibly welcoming and sweet, but they went above and beyond to offer a free coffee when I skipped breakfast-a thoughtful gesture that truly stood out. The room, though on the smaller side, was impressively well-equipped with a beautiful terrace providing stunning views of the historic town of Rocamadour. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the scorching heatwave, ensuring a comfortable and cool retreat in the midst of the soaring temperatures. The soundproofed rooms allowed for a peaceful and undisturbed rest after long days of adventure. The convenient location, just a short walk from the town center, provided easy access to charming shops and restaurants, including the delightful Au Panorama which I highly recommend for a memorable dining experience. Amadour not only met but exceeded my stringent criteria, making it a standout choice for anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable stay in the French Alps.
